1971-1973 Study at "Polytechnischem Foto+Filminstitut "NARAFI" in Bruessel.
1973-1975 Assistant at different photographers in Bruessel, London and Amsterdam.
1976-1977 Assistent and Junior potographer, Reinhart Wolf in Hamburg
1978 Foundation of an own studio in Hamburg
1987 ADC Award for Photography Theme: "States of Food"
since 1988 Different exhibitions in Germany and abroad. A selection of fashion shoots od the photography collection of museum for art and trade in Hamburg.
Jo van den Berg is working as a photographer and producer for advertising agencies as well as for publishing houses as Gruner & Jahr (Der Stern, Geo), Der Spiegel, Fit for Fun, Elle Germany + France.
